Gahat Dal is grown in the Hilly area of Uttarakhand Tehri Garhwal, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Chamoli and Almora without any use of chemicals or pesticides. It is also known as Kulthi Dal / Horse Gram / Gahat / Macrotyloma Uniflorum. It is high in iron, calcium, fiber and protein. In addition, it has the highest calcium content among pulses and is one of the richest vegetarian sources of protein. Gahat dal is full of nutrients and health benefits!
